Johnny Hooker
Johnny Hooker is considered to be one of the most promising artists of the new generation, and with only 19 years old, and five of musical career has earned several awards and breakthrough reviews from the specialized critics, that has praised him as "an artist of the future" and "the most curious and emblematic figure of the 00s in Brazilian music". He was for two times finalist of the Microfonia contest, a festival which intention is to find the best in new contemporary music, and was nominated for Best New Artist in the Recife Rock Awards 2004. Johnny has also played with great names of Brazilian pop and underground music through the years such as Los Hermanos, Cachorro Grande, Mombojó, Vamoz!, Mellotrons, and Montage.
